Knowlton checks into our rankings as a newcomer in this update, and is just outside the top ten at his position but still inside the top 50 overall across the state of Idaho and could rise in the final rankings update later this Fall. Although coming from a small school in Highland high school that plays 8 man football, he is an explosive and violent edge rusher that should be able to make the transition at the next level at the D3+ level. Knowlton is explosive off the ball, plays with violent hands and knows how to use his length to lockout blockers. He is a high motor kid that can quickly get off blocks, chase down ball carriers backside with long strides/closing speed and has tons of growth potential at the next level.
