Washington was one of my favorite young quarterbacks to evaluate this offseason, and now he’s sitting at No. 3 in the state through three games with 554 passing yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. He already has a mature frame with plenty of room for continued growth. He can extend plays with his athleticism and plays with natural confidence. The physical tools are there, and now he’s getting valuable varsity reps to continue putting everything together.
