About Trent
Expert Analysis
Mark Johnson | Prep Redzone Scout
Trent looks like a safety prospect for the next level. He has an excellent frame at 6’3″ 182 lbs that ran 4.81 in the 40. he also put up a 4.69 shuttle time, 8’6″ broad jump, and 7.88 L Drill. Trent is at his best playing off or in a deep zone where he can read the QB and route development and then get in position to make a play on the ball. We got to see Trent in off coverage at the combine where he could show off the closing speed, his use of his length to disrupt the catch, and his ability to quickly read and react to routes breaking in front of him. The junior is an under the radar prospect to watch this season when he takes the field as a senior.
