Starting off with your hand in the dirt brings a certain grit to a player as they evolve into more of a skills position or have the option to not always play in a three point stance. Travon has experience as both a offensive and defensive lineman. Thankfully some genius youth coach saw it fit to try this young man at Linebacker. Genius is a sarcastic exaggeration of a common sense decision in my humble opinion lol. Now this kid is terrorizing the same bigs he used to go to war with face to face, but from distance. In March he was named MVP at UA camp and you can find videos of him leading the charge on kickoff blasting down the middle of blockers to de-cleating the deep returner. I see him using the same hand combat techniques and leverage used upfront to become a big time LB.
