We wrap up with an explosive WR out of Oshkosh. The 5’11” 175 lbs Traeven Seely Traeven Seely 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR/RB Oshkosh West | 2029 State WI is coming off a freshman season that highlighted his playmaking abilities. The ’29 flashed his speed over and over while ripping off long receptions and weaving through coverage units for kickoff return TDs. The ’29’s 4.62 40 speed jumps off the tape compared to his peers. Traeven’s tape shows over and over how well he attacks the ball at the high point where the DB wasn’t able to meet him to contest.

The speed was a big factor in his ability to effectively play DB as well. So were his instincts as he was able to sit back and diagnose plays in an efficient manner. Seely is no newcomer to creating big plays. I’m excited to see what he is able to do this fall.

Traeven really hit my radar while looking through the hundreds of results from the Lake Show Mega Camp in early June. The Oshkosh West 2029 WR hit the ground running at the Lake Show posting 4.62 40, 4.62 shuttle, 7.51 L-Drill, 9′ broad jump, and a 33.6″ vertical jump. A great base of explosive athleticism for the incoming sophomore to build upon over the next three years. After uncovering the numbers I went to the tape. Tape that shows Seely being a legitimate mismatch vs athletes his age. He won with speed vertically, made tough catches in traffic, and was a consistent big play threat for his team. His gifts were also highlighted on kick returns. I’m excited to watch this season’s highlights that Traeven puts out.
