Heading into year 3 and looking to take another big step in development is the 2-way player from Dwenger who has a plethora of upside on both sides of the ball. He’s lengthy and explosive which bodes well for either side of the ball. He’s got the length to get first contact on defense and has the strength to drive his opposition straight back. While he can go head-to-head with blocks, Poiry is fantastic at getting around blocks and shedding them to make the tackle when it comes his way. Offensively, he’s used much more often to block, but it’s because he’s reliable and consistent.
