Tommy Kelly Jr. is a 2023 inside linebacker coming out of Provine High School. This kid has tons of potential and I’m certain he is just beginning to srape the surface of what he’ll become as a football player. Tommy posted over 130 tackles, 23 TFL, and 3 sacks on his way to gaining 1st Team All-State honors. Kelly was also selected to compete in the Mississippi North/South Bernard Blackwell All Star Game, an experience that he made the most out of undoubtedly. Tommy earned Defensive MVP honors for the North from his performance. The pedigree is there, the talent is there, and most importantly the work ethic is there. TJ Kelly is a kid that I see going from a great player to an excellent player within his first two years on the collegiate level. As far as recruitment goes, he as received offers from several junior colleges within the state. East Mississippi, Co-Lin, Mississippi Gulf Coast, Hinds, Coahoma, and Southwest have all offered, just to name a few. A few Division 1 programs in the tri-state area have shown interest, so look for Tommy Kelly Jr. to be coming to a TV near you on Saturday’s in years to come.
