Jeske is one of my favorite prospects on this Waseca squad, and it’s easy to see why. He’s got an uncommon frame and had an incredible showing at our Stock Up Showcase in December. His sophomore tape is exciting. The big OLB/edge rusher is a problem for a lot of tackles, and he makes his presence felt when he gets to the quarterback. More often than not, he’s able to physically overpower offensive linemen, an uncanny feat for a sophomore. He can often be seen blowing up a play by lighting up a lead blocker and collapsing the ball carriers’ running lanes. While not nessecarily apart of his tape, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention his freakish 6’10” wingspan. When he’s playing off-ball and gets a running start on a blitz, it’s a sight to behold because he can absolutely wreck a play. Jeske looks like he’s going to be a problem next season.
