proved he belonged on the big stage. Lining up against IMG’s loaded secondary, the young playmaker consistently found ways to win on the outside.
What stood out most was his ability to track the ball. Maddox hauled in difficult passes over his shoulder, stayed focused with the sun in his eyes, and finished catches through contact. He demonstrated concentration, toughness, and savvy route running, which allowed him to separate against some of the best defensive backs in the country.
While Winslow’s offense struggled overall, Maddox’s performance should not be overlooked. His ability to win one-on-one matchups and create explosive plays down the field highlighted why he’s one of Winslow’s most promising weapons. This game may very well be the start of his breakout season.

is next in line to carry the torch for Winslow’s explosive passing attack. The rising wideout brings big-play juice, especially as a deep threat. He finds holes in the zone, wins from the slot or outside, and creates separation with ease. Though a bit undersized, his route running and instincts make up for it. With Cam Miller gone, Maddox is primed to be the next breakout weapon for Winslow—and one of the most dangerous receivers in the state.

is next up at Winslow. At 6’0”, 170 pounds, he’s already one of the most electric playmakers in New Jersey. The scary part? He’s just getting started.
Maddox doesn’t need a high volume of targets to make an impact. Whether lined up outside or in the slot, he’s a constant deep threat. His speed jumps off the tape, but his contact balance sets him apart. For a wiry receiver, he absorbs hits well and keeps moving. He’s more than just a vertical weapon, too. Maddox can work the intermediate game, make defenders miss, and turn short passes into first downs.
Winslow has a history of producing elite playmakers, and Maddox is next in line. With players like Cam Miller paving the way, he’s on track to be another high-level prospect. His recruiting reflects that—he’s already earned offers from Penn State, Syracuse, and Southern Miss. Expect that list to keep growing as he proves he’s one of the best in the state.

As Winslow was the class of Group IV, they will look to see how they stack up against national power house IMG and then versus Jersey’s #1 team in Bergen Catholic. By this time

will look to fill his time share. All this said, there is a golden opportunity for the young freshman to make a name for himself with a breakthrough game. Maddox possesses speed that I would describe as “raw” and does a nice job using his hands to catch the ball. When the pill is in his hands, he certainly knows what to do with it, using his athleticism and ball carrier vision to spring big gains. With a little shake & bake to him, we see that he can make a man miss. As he grows older and lives in the weight room, he will get stronger and stay upright through contact more. However, make no mistake about it: Maddox is unabashed and willing to give up his body in order to make come up with the ball. He is used mostly on intermediate and short routes, as he is trusted to create for himself. As he prepares for his sophomore season, it would benefit Maddox to work on his hips to open up

, a rising star from Winslow, has quickly established himself as one of the top athletes in New Jersey’s 2028 class. His athleticism is unmatched, and his ability to move on the field immediately grabs your attention. Whether running routes or carrying the ball, TJ brings incredible speed and explosiveness to every play.
While some label him as primarily a deep threat, there’s more to his game. His size, body control, and suddenness suggest he has the potential to develop into a complete outside wide receiver. He’s already shown the ability to make plays from both the slot and the outside. Polishing his route tree and expanding his skill set will elevate his game further.
Beyond his offensive impact, TJ adds value on special teams, where his athleticism allows him to make key contributions in kickoff coverage. He’s the type of player who can affect multiple game phases. With offers from Penn State, Nebraska, and Syracuse already in hand,

– Played for Woodbury
– Also plays linebacker and defensive back
Maddox is a tough kid that is starting to really turn the corner in terms realizing his potential. Has gotten a bit thicker over the last calendar year and helped Woodbury win the championship this season. Has impressed me a lot with his short to intermediate routes. He has improved his slant running, more than anything else.
