, a rising defensive back in the 2025 class, is beginning to draw serious attention on the recruiting trail. Currently holding four Division I offers, from Howard University, Delaware State, Navy, and Bowie State. Cain is trending heavily among FCS programs, with Navy standing out as his first FBS offer.
Cain is a physical, instinctive corner with the tools to thrive in man-to-man coverage. He plays with a natural feel for positioning, consistently staying in the receiver’s hip pocket through the route. His fluid hips and short-area quickness allow him to mirror receivers with precision, while his closing speed and timing make him a threat to disrupt passing lanes.
In run support, Cain flashes strong form tackling and shows no hesitation engaging on the perimeter. His ability to diagnose plays and finish tackles in space adds to his all-around value in the secondary.
With a senior season still ahead, Cain is poised to attract more interest as programs continue to prioritize versatile, high-IQ defenders in the back end. If he continues to develop, don’t be surprised to see his offer list expand significantly.

No player made a bigger jump in the these rankings that Mr. Cain. He improved roughly ~200 spots to being a top 100 player and the #15 overall DB. After getting to see him live and in person at multiple camps this spring he is a no brainer FBS kid to me now.
Looking every bit the part on the hoof at 6’2″ and a muscled up 180lbs. -that should become a yoked 190lbs+ once he hits a college weight room program. Tim fits the mold for today’s DB and checks a lot of boxes. He has good speed and strong technique. Fluid in his transitions, he has the hips to turn & run with WRs while staying their pocket and then dropping his weight to decelerate to break on the pass.
Tim currently holds 3 offers from Howard, Del State and Navy. A sleeper prospect, I feel he should have more offers at this stage and certainly will be a player colleges are all over with some strong early Senior film.

Cain is a disruptive cornerback who thrives on an island, regularly challenging receivers one-on-one. He recorded several impressive pass breakups last season, many just a fingertip away from being interceptions. At 6’1″, 180 pounds, Cain has the ideal frame to match up with bigger receivers and contribute in the screen game and against outside runs. He covers the fade route with ease, often squeezing receivers toward the sideline and eliminating space. With the size and speed to contest 50/50 balls, Cain enters 2025 as a leader in the secondary. Expect him to continue disrupting passing lanes, and don’t be surprised if those near-picks start turning into interceptions. He consistently puts himself in position to make plays.

Tim is a player who look every bit the part of an offer prospect and is the prototype build for a DB in today’s game. Standing 6’2″ with a great frame that will continue to fill out well and excellent length. Fluid in his transitions, able to turn and run with receivers and use his length to get PBUs. Cain shows a great ability to run the route, stay on the WRs hip and can decelerate quickly, breakdown and break on the ball. Shows good physicality too, in coverage and in supporting the run. A nice overall athlete, Tim is rangy with a smooth stride and good burst, back up by his track results as he recently posted a 22.5 200M. Tim recently picked up his first 2 offers, and more are on the way as he is a no brainer FBS scholly player and with a good summer camp season/early senior film I could see Power 4 schools taking a serious look at Cain.
