There are some players that you can only describe as an athlete. Moore is simply a baller! From his defensive back spot, the senior shows a confidence that allows him to make plays against the run or pass. In Friday’s game, Moore stopped one drive by forcing a fumble inside the 10 yard line. Later, the Austin Peay commit was at it again knocking the ball lose at the goal line. Moore would finish the game with 10 tackles in addition to the pair of forced turnovers.

Therman Deon Moore has been on our radar since the creation of our 2025 Rankings, and rightfully so. Since his freshman season, Moore has been a fantastic player for Center Point and is set up for a big senior season this fall. Moore has developed into a highly talented athlete who plays on both sides of the ball for Center Point as a highly productive quarterback and defensive back. Moore is a phenomenal option quarterback. It’s clear he has a terrific understanding of how to read opposing defensive linemen as he’s been able to produce so many touchdown-scoring plays on zone reads/speed options. In addition to his skills at quarterback, Moore is a super reliable player out in coverage as well. He plays with terrific instincts and speed that allow him to break on the ball to consistently get pass breakups and picks. With how versatile Moore is, he’s seen several schools recruit him over the last few seasons. This past week, however, Moore committed to Austin Peay, giving them a seriously talented ATH in their 2025 class. Keep watch of Moore this fall, he has been a blast to cover and is a super-talented player heading into his senior season!

Moore is an electrifying talent that will be exhibiting his athletic skills for many years to come.

Therman Moore is a D1-caliber athlete with good measurables. At 6’0 180 with 11.43 speed in the 100M this spring, he checks the height/weight/speed boxes. Moore mostly takes direct snaps at QB on offense, where he possesses the speed and playmaking ability to pick apart defenses. Not only does he possess breakaway speed, but he maintains his top-end speed while weaving in and out of running lanes, making it very difficult to catch him from behind. He will line up at corner on defense, where he checks plenty of boxes physically. He also comes downhill hard and drives through the football at contact. He played plenty of safety as a sophomore in 2022. Moore is dangerous with the ball in his hand, which could project him at WR. Regardless of where he ends up, Moore is an impressive athlete with D1-caliber tools. He holds a few offers.
