It has been a while since I last checked in on Eastern Regional’s Terry Cook Terry Cook 5'10" | 190 lbs | DB Eastern Regional | 2027 State NJ . When initially ranked, Cook earned the #2 overall ranking in the class of 2027. After a year of physical development, it is time to take a look how is sophomore season went.

Cook ran run in phase fron a skate technique in cover three with ease and has the body control to make a play both the lead and trail positions. I did not notice a matchup he could not run with. Cook uses his body to take on bigger blockers on perimeter toss-type plays, but might lose his force leverage – this will come as time progresses. When I take a look at Cook’s junior tape, I hope to see him matchup up in press coverage – as I feel he has the speed to run with anyone on the field and asphyxiate matchups all over the field – as well as more instances of his hip mobility and converting picks. Add these elements to Cook’s film, and I feel the offers will blow up.
