. is an incredibly talented ATH out of Childersburg who has made a huge impact for his team on both sides of the ball at WR and DB.
At 6’0 160, Hood has great size and speed he uses to win one-on-one matchups out wide and in coverage. As a WR, Hood easily gains separation off his footwork- he’s got some impressive releases, is a talented route-runner, and easily burns DBs downfield for huge gains. Hood has incredibly reliable hands- he comes away with some really impressive along the sideline, deep downfield, and in contested situations.
Hood uses a lot of the same skills on defense- he provides great coverage out in the secondary and consistently gets hands on the ball, coming up with PBUs and INTs all over the field. Hood has great instincts and constantly puts himself in good position to make plays- he’s a highly instinctual defender who demands opposing offenses’ attention with how well he flies around the field and comes up with stops against the run and pass.
I had a blast watching Hood’s tape, he’s highly athletic, has great ball skills, and is an every-down threat on offense and defense. Hood has put together some seriously impressive tape that you can see below, be sure to give him a watch- he’s set up for a big year this fall!
