As the great DeVonta Smith once said, “We don’t stop, we just keep reloading”. That seems to be the case for the Jackrabbits as they prepare to replace one of the best players in the state with Hunley, who was one of the best freshmen in the state last year. Taylor is a dynamic speedster who weaves in and out of defenses with great acceleration and lateral cut ability. He possesses great vision to run in between the tackles, along with little wasted movement and great speed to get outside. Hunley boasts versatility and athleticism, also lining up at safety and returning kicks in 2024. During his freshman campaign, Hunley accounted for over 1,300 total yards and 16 touchdowns. Expect the second piece of an elite 1-2 punch to have a productive sophomore year and build upon an early offer list of SMU, Texas Tech, and Kent State.

Already a dynamic threat on both sides of the ball, Hunley will tote the rock again this year, filling out one of the best RB rooms in the country. For such a young back, Hunley already demonstrates great patience and vision at the line of scrimmage, allowing running lanes to open up into the second level. He also displays solid body balance control and change of direction. Taylor possesses a good balance of overall speed with the acceleration to get outside and the long speed to finish off runs past the secondary. His polish as a runner and strong traits developing establish Hunley as a future elite prospect in the class. After compiling over 1,300 yards and 16 total touchdowns in 2024, Taylor looks to be even more productive in his sophomore season. The two-sport star has already received offers from SMU, Texas Tech, and Kent State.

A true two-way threat, Hunley flashed elite potential both in coverage drills and on film with the ball in his hands. On offense, he’s an explosive running back with 16 total touchdowns as a freshman, blending vision, forward lean, and tackle-breaking ability. His defensive skills are just as promising, and he holds an early offer from SMU. One of the most dynamic underclassmen in the DFW area.
