How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a technically sound defensive back who has high football IQ and plays disciplined coverage. I have clean footwork, a sharp backpedal, as well as smooth transitions. I am a dependable tackler.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have confidence, unwavering focus, a short memory for mistakes, a strong desire to compete, quick decision-making ability, and readiness to react to any offensive play. I am a team player and a leader. I never doubt that I can cover my opponent and make a play on the ball. I am disciplined, providing me the ability to stay within my coverage scheme.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of the National Beta club and the National Honors Society. I was also a member of the Fall sports 2024 Chattahoochee valley second team defense.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I feel I have developed communication skills.This has been important in relaying important information about offensive formations and adjustments based on offensive formations and quarterback reads, as well as coverage. I have developed mental toughness and the ability to stay focused under pressure, maintain composure even when facing challenges, not allowing mistakes to affect my performance.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
During the 2022 football season I fractured my L-5 vertebrae. I completed 6 months of physical therapy and pushed through all of the 2023 season’s games except 2 (playoff & championship), due to limited range of motion and pain. I was advised by the surgeon I would be unable to play the 2024 season, however, after 6 months of physical therapy I had a successful 2024 season and am fully recovered.
What type of college are you looking for?
Honestly, I have a passion for playing football and would be grateful for the opportunity to play at the next level. I have a desire to serve in the United States Military after college. I am open to colleges that would afford me the opportunity to contribute to their team and continue to pursue my football career.
