Tanner is another member of the Northwestern football and wrestling teams. He is competing in the D2 170 lbs bracket, and enters the Finals with a 49-2 record. His Finals spot was earned following a 6-4 decision.
Tanner was a do it all senior on the gridiron. He finished with 1,100+ rushing yards and 18 scores. We haven’t seen the last of Kaufman on the field as he will be playing for UW- River Falls at the next level.

Stats: 16 Carries, 196 Yards, 2 TDsrnThe 6′ 185 lbs RB/LB is a play maker. That goes for both sides of the ball. Tanner has a nice blend of speed and power that allows him to run between the tackles and pick up big yardage out in space. That ability to play out in space has allowed him to make plays at LB as well. He can get into the backfield quickly to disrupt plays or he can slide out to the slot and play in the flats out in space. The productive senior is starting to see more attention as of late. Tanner holds offers from UW- Stout and Gustavus- Adolphus.
