Watching Johnson’s film was interesting to say the least, mainly because of the offense New Hanover employs. New Hanover ran a lot of bootlegs and pro-style concepts which worked well for Johnson. I like his accuracy in the short and mid-range areas of the field most of all. New Hanover also used Johnson in the running game some in some short yardage situations, but I wouldn’t put him in the dual-threat QB category necessarily just yet. A left-handed thrower, I would love to see how Johnson’s development allows him to push the ball down field some.more, but he’s got a nice talent base to work from with his accuracy, ball placement, and overall arm strength.
