About Symir

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hard nose runner, great field vision, breaks initial contact, great pad level. Good footwork in between tackles, good tip in speed. Willing and able to block in pass protection. Catches the ball well out of the backfield

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Humble kid who works hard and always looks to get better. Take practice reps seriously as a way to get better. I’m a worker

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Team captain, lead my team in rushing but wanted to share carries with my teammates. Community service projects with my team every summer and in season

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Shoulder injury my freshman year but worked through it and lead the school in rushing as a sophomore starting on varsity

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m willing to go anywhere who will give me the opportunity to further my education and playing career

This isn’t about me, but Ray is making me look good after I ranked him ahead of some talented players at bigger schools in our County Deep Dives series. So far, he has eight sacks in three games, including two last Friday in a 26-16 win over Fairmont. He’s causing plenty of havoc in the backfield, and last week he added a forced fumble and not one, but two blocked punts to his stat line.
