Steven McAnally
About Steven
Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
McAnally has a rare frame at 6’6″, 200 pounds, and the upside is obvious when you watch him. He’s still young and raw, but players with this combination of length and athleticism are hard to find. His long strides allow him to cover ground quickly, and his long arms create a huge catch radius. For a player his size, he’s surprisingly nimble and doesn’t look stiff moving around the field. He shows decent hands and has flashed the ability to contribute as a blocker as well. The finished product is still a ways off, but the physical traits give him a ceiling that will get people’s attention.

Raider is 6-foot-3 and McAnally looked a good bit taller than him last year. McAnally also played Edge and has all the potential in the world to become a highly recruited prospect at both positions in football — in addition to basketball.
