Steven is a bit of a hybrid linebacker in today’s game. He is a good mixture of downhill, old school linebacker, mixed with the speed and lateral quickness that is needed to defend some of today’s offenses. I like his ability to diagnose the play and get to his spot quickly. He’s aggressive and seems to be a sure tackler. Hemlock’s program is under a rebuild, but guys like this leading the defense can make a world of a difference. He has definitely gotten my attention!
