About Steven

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a defensive back, I'm always focused on reading the quarterback's eyes and staying one step ahead of the receiver. I take pride in my ability to close on the ball quickly and make key tackles or break up passes when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m driven, disciplined, and always focused on improvement. I thrive under pressure and stay calm in high-stakes situations, trusting my preparation.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am involved in my towns Fire Department as a Fire Fighter as well as my towns EMS. Both of them are volunteer. I also do PDP (peer development program) and student council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a captain of my team makes me more responsible and more as a role model to the younger guys.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Absolutely… being “undersized.” I never let that stop me from being who I am. I know that lions aren’t the biggest animal in the jungle, but they’re still the king.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that suits me academically and where it feels like home.
