As a passer, the ball leaves his hand with great velocity, allowing him to push the ball vertically on downfield shots and drive the ball to receivers into hole shots outside of the numbers. He is an aggressive runner who will rarely be on the receiving end of a big hit as he initiates contact, helping him to fall forward and gain additional yards. He is a downhill runner with the athleticism to cut back and make defenders miss in space.
