I would label Beverly as an ATH, which is just high regard for what he can do as a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He is already a threat with his size once he gets going, but he flashes explosive COD, efficiently jumping across the face of defenders into new running lanes. He is a capable passer who produced as a junior, but the intrigue here is the combination of size and speed.

Beverly accounted for over 2,000 yards of total offense in 2025, making him a legitimate dual-threat under center. He is a phenomenal athlete who also plays in the secondary on defense, creating game-changing plays on both sides of the ball. As a passer, the ball leaves his hand with great velocity, allowing him to push the ball vertically on downfield shots and drive the ball to receivers into hole shots outside of the numbers. He is an aggressive runner who will rarely be on the receiving end of a big hit as he initiates contact, helping him to fall forward and gain additional yards. He is a downhill runner with the athleticism to cut back and make defenders miss in space. Beverly shows great patience and attentiveness in the backfield’s mesh, freezing defenders to create passing lanes on play action/ RPO concepts and using it to force read defenders to make a clear decision before pulling or giving the ball in run reads.
