One of the best of the best defensive backs that I have covered for the middle school ranks is Spencer Wyche Spencer Wyche 5'3" | 135 lbs | DB Flowery Branch | 2032 GA out of Gainesville. Wyche has amazing ball skills making sure wide outs do not get much on him if anything at all. He times the ball well in order to jump in front of the ball and intercept it or bat the ball down, which goes back to his ball skills. I’m excited to see what he does in the 2032 class and in the middle school ranks in general this fall!

You want to talk about one of the toughest positions on the football field? It’s defensive back. A clear disadvantage as the DB has to be able to move backwards with a fast wide out coming at him and cutting on a dime at full speed, also having to move laterally. Wyche has the ability to be a force in coverage not letting passes get over him as well as sticking his hands out there for a quick pick.
