Hummel has been leading SI through one of the best seasons they have had in recent memory, and has recently shut down his recruitment and committed to Bowdoin College in Maine. He is a very calm and collected pocket passer that has underrated scrambling abilities were able to get the ball out quickly and shows good ball placement and touch on intermediate throws. Leading his team to two big-time wins over both Archbishop Riordan and Serra, he is one of the top players this year in all of northern California. Against a tough and physical Riordan defense, he passed for well over 100+ yards and 2 scores, in a come from behind win over one of the top teams in Norcal.
