Another dynamic and productive back in North Georgia, James is one of the best backs in the Cartersville area and is one of the leading returning backs in region this upcoming season. The 5-foot-11 180-pounder brings plenty of size and above-average speed, taking off for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns, rushing for at least 100 yards in five games. His productivity and overall talent makes him an easy Power Four-caliber running back, and he’s now ranked as the No. 9 RB and the No. 90 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2028 class. He’s a back to keep a very close eye on this fall.

He has a great deal of all-around talent and will be a major workhorse this year. He was and has been and will continue to be. James is special and will have his best season yet this fall. A special talent at the running back position and someone I like to consider an all-around type of back that can do multiple things out of the backfield and do multiple things with the ball in his hands is, Solomon James. James, a 2028 running back in the Peach State who I feel is one of the best backs in his class and very underrated to be honest, is going to make a major splash this season and really catch a lot of eyes. He already has but I believe it’s really going to head into another level this fall. Stay tuned!

has been a steady riser this offseason and is looking to carry over that momentum into his junior season. James is listed at around 5’11 190, and runs with a lower center of gravity than you would expect. He is one of the more crafty runners in the state, pairing his impressive short-area burst with the ability to run hard and hit openings aggressively, enabling him to squeeze the most out of each play and generate highlight reel runs. James holds a few offers, and with his ability to break the game, he will continue adding attention.

A couple of in-state FBS offers got the ball rolling for James this offseason. Listed at 5’11 180, and plays bigger. He runs hard, consistently shearing his way off contact and flashing impressive contact balance. His ability to restart runs is impressive, and I would consider that the basis of intrigue here. He is a solid athlete with good twitch in the short areas, but I think it’s his motor and work against contact is what catches my eye.

A tough, physical, tackle-breaking back with good size and great balance, James runs like a bowling ball and was tough to wrap up all season long for opposing defenders. However, he’s more than just a power back. James brings above-average athleticism to the position and brings impressive speed for someone his age. He’s one of the top returning running backs in the area and one of the top 2028 backs in North Georgia. He has Power Four potential and is in store for an impressive sophomore season. He’s now ranked as the No. 17 RB and the No. 124 overall prospect in the state.

One of the top freshman running backs in North Georgia last year, James is a tackle-breaking back with a promising 5-foot-11 180-pound frame. He shows quick feet, change of direction, and knows how elude defenders in the open field. He shows impressive vision for someone his age and runs really hard. He didn’t play like a freshman last season and had no problem impressive and making a big impact in his first season. He’ll be an easy addition to the next 2028 Prep Redzone rankings and has a chance to light up the stat sheet as a sophomore this fall.
