Slade was going through the bags pretty well, showing actice feet and the ability to stay low and change directions. Keeping his balanace through the cut steps instead of rising up which help him stay sharp through the drills.

Slade was one of the linebackers who really caught attention on the softball field period and carried that energy into his reps. He looked locked in from the start, moving with good range and showing solid speed when flowing to the ball. During one-on-ones, he competed well and showed he wasn’t afraid to step up and match physicality, especially when reading and reacting in space. His effort level stayed high throughout, and he consistently put himself around the action.
