A track star, Sharroid Whitehead Sharroid Whitehead 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH Ocean Springs | 2026 State MS is the next playmaker to come out of Ocean Springs. Whitehead stands at 5’9″ 165 and came onto the scene early out of middle school. A quarterback at the time, it will be exciting to see how Whitehead is used at the high school level. This guy is lightening in the bottle every time he touches the football. Whitehead has the wiggles and make you miss factor that typically doesn’t come around very often. Holding offers from Tennessee, TCU, Texas Tech, Penn State, and FSU, the sky is the limit for the sophomore.

Sharroid is poised to be the next great QB at Ocean Springs. Their last QB is going on to play at Alabama and Whitehead has similar aspirations. This young stud is quick, elusive and accurate. He is a versatile athlete who can line up at any skill position and do extremely well. What stands out about his play style is his ability to extend plays with his feet and make off schedule throws. I am very confident that as he continues to play at such a high level several D1 programs will be looking his way.
