He announced his post-grad year at Avon Old Farms on Twitter on March 10, 2024. His 2023 season film is not posted in his Hudl. I previewed his sophomore film for upcoming ranking purposes. He is versatile and SUPER athletic! His field vision pops on film. Has very good instincts. Good ball skills. Good leaping ability. Good feet. Very reactive with good athletic fluid movement. His athletic numbers are also impressive with a Explosive 10 Ft Broad Jump and 35 foot vertical and a verfied Speed 4.50-4.55 40 (PSU,Cuse,BC Camps). Has a 3.7+ GPA per his coach.

He will surely be added to our class of 2025 rankings during the next update in Summer 2024. “Shane” also picked up an offer from Umass at the end of November 2023 and will likely see additional offers roll in this spring and summer evaluation period. He has a brother Nate, who will also be attending Avon.

Now at Avon Old Farms, a top 50 2025 prospect formerly out of The Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts. Currently holds one offer out of UMass, received back in November of last year. Shane Olson Shane Olson 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Avon Old | 2026 State New E doesn’t appear to have tape from last Fall, with his most recent film coming after his sophomore campaign at TRS. Heard awesome things about his testing numbers, 10’0 broads, sub 4.6 40 times, unsure if verified but I wouldn’t be surprised to find out the kid is an excellent combine tester considering his special sophomore tape. Should fit in well in the AOF secondary.
