Standing at 6’1″ 180-pounds Kiernan displays an average frame for the QB position. He was a runner-up for the Boomer Award (given to Suffolk’s top QB) after a spectacular junior year. He was second on Long Island in passing yards with 2,885 and touchdowns with 29.
On tape, Kiernan displays a quick release with smooth motion on his throws. He has the ability to hit both hashmarks of the field and does so with solid accuracy. He stands tall in the pocket and does not allow pressure to affect his throws. His IQ is visible as he throws receivers open and makes the right read.
He is a pure passer who should receive college interest this year. Following a big Junior season, Kiernan will look to replicate his 2024 success.

Last year, Kiernan proved he was one of the best QBs Long Island had to offer. He was a runner-up for the Boomer Award (given to Suffolk’s top QB) after a spectacular junior year. He was second on Long Island in passing yards (2,885) and touchdowns (29). Kiernan threw some beautiful passes throughout his junior year, but what impressed me most was his ability to shine in big moments. He had to go on the road twice to Babylon, including the county semifinals, and he tore apart a strong Panthers defense. He eclipsed 400 yards both times and made a major leap from his sophomore year. He could take another big stride this season—I imagine the pure passer will get more college recognition sooner rather than later.

Kiernan was one of the most productive Quarterbacks in New York this year, the Miller Place QB – Kiernan holds the Long Island record for pass yards in a game and has a ton of experience under his belt for a player with another season left.
At 6’1 “180, he looks the part physically. I have seen his tape and saw him throw at the Downstate Classic, so I feel like I have a good grasp on his ability. He is among the top quarterbacks in what I think is an above-average group coming out of New York this year.
