Shane Eason Shane Eason 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Methuen | 2025 State New E   He is ranked as our #8 athlete in the class of 2025 in the New England region.  He is recruit many heard about last season and will also hear in the future during fall seasons the next 2 years.  He is versatile and a true baller who allows his consistent athletic performances to speak for his ability to play at the next level.  He is competitive and confident.  A recruit known for his running back skills from his 2022 Varsity season, he may have caught the coaches in attendance eyes with his advanced receiver skill set.  He executed sharp crisp routes with flashes of quickness that pops.  Played with obvious speed and quickness during every rep.

On offense he plays multiple positions WR/RB, including being put into wildcat formation and taking the direct snaps. All for major gains or TD home-runs. On defense he can ball Hawk from the safety position while using his speed to help in run support especially on the perimeter.  It’s very hard to recognize he is only a sophomore. He plays with such experience and maturity that easily pops.

His college interest should spark now that we are in the 2023 Spring/April evaluation period.

Sean Eason is positioned as an RB for his team.  Leaders are known to show out in all games and that’s exactly what he did. In a first round MIAA playoff game this weekend, he had 119 receiving yards, 71 rushing yards, and three  — touchdowns, as he boosted his recruiting stock to help lead his team successfully to a 37-34 win. “Eason had another great repeat performance. This week he rushed for 153 yards and five touchdowns to lead his team. Player Analysis: Has a quick burst from stance. Runs with low pad level upon seeing contact. His vision allows him to find cut back lanes. Runs hard  Uses good stiff arms to keep defenders away.  Has the ability to take it to the house on any carry.

The sophomore RB/LB rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries and a TD pass. He is currently ranked as our # 2 RB in class of 2025 and he confirmed why on Friday Night.  He is a speedy and quick cutting running back that follows his blockers well.  He can change direction quickly and his hips are very loose. He is always falling forward when being tackled or diving for the extra yardage.  On defense he plays angry and will bring the boom when needed.
