Shamarr Purnell Shamarr Purnell 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Upper Darby | 2027 State PA is a lockdown cornerback for Upper Darby. The best trait he has as a cornerback is his tackling ability. He has the mindset of a linebacker playing cornerback, as evidenced by his ability to make good tackles in the open field. His ability to tackle ball carriers is excellent. Then he shows good coverage skills. He has good size (6’1″), long arms, and athleticism to match up with every type of wide receiver. He demonstrates a strong ability to cover wide receivers across the field. Purnell has excellent traits for a cornerback.
