Shacre Colwell
About Shacre
Expert Analysis
Amal Scott | Prep Redzone Scout
Shacre is a very versatile player that can make plays on both sides of the ball. On offense, he runs sharp routes and can make tough catches in traffic, on the boundary or in the end zone. He also has breakaway speed and can run past defenders from the LOS. On defense he has fast feet, quick hips and can high point the ball. He also runs through receivers when tackling and can lock down any receiver. A definite playmaker, he is exciting to watch.

Shacre Colwell Shacre Colwell 6'2" | 160 lbs | WR St Thomas More Ct. | 2026 State New E is one of the most intriguing players in the entire EPC. The 6’2′ / 160lb (WR) prospect has the ability to go up and catch any ball thrown his way. Colwell picked up his first Division 1 offer from Toledo on April 2nd. He received interest from schools like Liberty and New Hampshire, but neither school pulled the trigger. As of January 27th Colwell has re-classed into the 2026 class. The talented WR prospect will attend St. Thomas More School next season. I was able to watch this prospect in person multiple times. He’s extremely talented and I’m excited to see what he does with this opportunity.

Shacre is the only prospect on this list that currently has a Division 1 offer. He was offered by Toledo back in April. Colwell is a prospect out of Freedom HS. He has very good technique with his releases at the line of scrimmage. Shacre is also the kind of WR that loves the jump ball. Colwell’s vertical allows him to high point any ball thrown his way. His explosiveness has been his greatest asset thus far, and will continue to be an asset moving forward.

Current Recruiting Status: Ranked as the third best wideout the state has to offer after Dallastown’s Mikey Scott, who is currently committed to James Madison University. A drastically underrated prospect who only has one offer to his name. I’ve seen what Colwell is capable of both in pads and out. I’ve had the pleasure of watching him perform under my microscope on numerous occasions. I scratch my head at the fact that Colwell has seen little Division One interest in the form of offers, despite his solid GPA (3.1) and great tape. I know some schools want to see him gain weight, this could be an issue. Still, this is an issue I personally wouldn’t put much stock into, especially when you watch him run and catch the football. Time will ultimately tell which way Colwell’s recruitment will fall.
Here is my senior szn Film!! Won’t be disappointed! @FranBrownCuse @Justin_Harpo @CoachJjLaster @CoachKlineAlex @CoachKodyCook19 @CoachAlexFaulk @Coach_BHaines @_CoachBR @RossDoug21 https://t.co/9HKkI0ZoUC

One of the best overall talents present at this event. Would be placed higher if not for a lackluster Day One. His outstanding Day Two proved to everyone watching that this kid is the real deal. Arguably the toughest wideout to keep up with in terms of stride. A nightmare to defend when cutting across the field, drags, digs, ins, Colwell can provide a big window for Fontanez to throw into, all the while maintaining his speed through traffic. 7v7 performances aside, Colwell’s a name that should be picking up steam in recruiting. He’s a name I have no problem throwing to FBS coaches looking for a WR/DB out of Eastern PA.

Share Colwell is an elite wide receiver who can do everything at the position. Colwell has position versatility that allows him to play the slot wide receiver or as an outside receiver. He is equally as good after the catch as he is at running deeper routes. Some of his most impressive plays are different circus catches like the time he caught the ball one-handed or the other time he out-jumped a defender for a big play. Colwell can also be used in the run game on jet sweeps. Colwell is a talented wide receiver who should have a good chance at playing Division 1 College Football.

Legitimate Division One prospect who, at the time of this game, was unknown to me. Again, this is why I value attending games so much, can’t always figure out who is who from behind a computer screen. Colwell is going to see a massive jump in rank after watching him torch BecaHi DBs. Incredible stride, 6’2 but carries a very slight frame, a frame that glides down the field. Talk about separation skills, talk about straight-line speed. Many DBs played 6-8 yards off of Colwell, with the junior wideout eating up cushion in a flash. Awesome mits to reel in passes, a real hands-catcher on routes non-vertical routes. Colwell even threw a 40-yard pass in the game I attended, completed it too.
