Notes: The Grant product is one of the top young linebackers in the 2029 class across the state and checked in as a top 3 at the position in our updated rankings. He is very athletic and moves well, flashes closing speed and packs a punch at the POA with natural instincts and seemingly always around the ball. He should really start seeing his stock rise this Fall and should burst onto the scene this year across the SJS.
Sekope enters the 2029 PRZ rankings at #33 overall and is the #3 LB after an impressive freshman season. He’s a quick reacting LB that plays with downhill aggression and speed to constantly show up around the football. Demonstrates fast processing ability of his reads to flow sideline to sideline with good pursuit speed and burst to close. Tough to block, he can work tightly around to avoid or take on and shed rapidly. Plays physical at the POA, arriving at contact with powerful forward momentum and finishing ability. First offered by San Diego State in January and quickly followed by a P4 offer from Cal.
Noa is a very active linebacker with tremendous instincts and is seemingly always around the football making plays. He triggers quickly up the middle, packs a punch at the point of attack and can quickly knife into the backfield with bend, use of hands and closing speed. Only a Freshman and seeing time on varsity for a loaded roster was impressive to see and he is well on his way to becoming one of the regions top at the position and is poised for a huge Sophomore season for the Pacers. He has racked up offers from SDSU and Cal and should see a slew of others come in over the next 12 months.
High caliber attacking LB that plays with urgency, physicality, and a playmaking mindset. 6’0” 190 lbs. he shows an explosive first step, triggering quickly at the snap and shooting gaps before blockers can react. Displays outstanding closing speed and initiates contact with heavy force to be effective both inside the box and in pursuit. Can navigate traffic with quick lateral movement or use violent hands to take on blockers and shed to disengage. Excels as a blitzer that can make a ton of plays at or behind the LOS showing timing and burst to penetrate and disrupt the backfield before the play can develop. Plays with a high motor and competitive edge, constantly around the ball and impacting the play. Early offers from San Diego State and Cal, he projects as one of the top northern California LB’s in the 2029 class.
