Expert Analysis

Nevills runs an offense that goes four and five wide, where he is the nucleus, and the show goes as he does. At the most important position on the field, he is a dynamic playmaker that throws a nice dart, can put touch and placement on the ball downfield, has a quick release with smooth overall throwing operation. On the ground, has a slashers quality, good finishing speed, a complete threat to make things happen with his legs.
It was his legs that often scored or set up scores Friday night. His 28 yard run in the 2nd quarter set up the first score of the game, a 14 yard pass to the far back corner to Elijah Morgensen Elijah Morgensen 5'9" | 139 lbs | RB Rock Bridge | 2028 MO . The second TD pass went to Nicholas Timbrook Nicholas Timbrook 6'2" | 182 lbs | WR Rock Bridge | 2027 MO on the slant, straight off a turnover, to extend led to 20-0. After Hickman responded immediately with an explosion score, Nevills matched and raised with a 70 yard run to the house where he bounced off a tackler into a pirouette, and showed the speed to burn to go up 27-7. The final nail in the coffin came in the 4th where he shook defenders and hit the jets from 19 yards out making the score 33-7.

When Nevills is on the top of his game he is very hard to slow down. I have watched him in multiple tournaments this season and has always performed great, but specifically at the Route 66 classic Nevills had a fantastic two days. He hit his talented core of wide receivers in stride with great accuracy with plenty of zip on the football.
Nevills also gave his SW7 squad snaps at receiver. A true threat anytime he has the ball Sean Nevills is a very good football player.
