Jones was a standout TE that impressed with the combination of size, hands, and route-running skill he showed on Sunday. Brings good length to the table with his 6’3″/205 frame and is a strong hands catcher that can extend for passes outside his framework. Moves well and can get in and out of his cuts with good lateral agility. He’ll need to continue to bulk and add weight to his frame to hold up as a TE at the next level but packs some upside in his receiving skill for the position at this stage. Look for Jones to put his name on the TE radar with a productive senior season for Valencia.
