returns once again to start for the Demons and we’re looking forward to seeing how he’s developed over the last nine months. Last season, Rice was incredibly productive as a true dual-threat option for Duncan. He threw for nearly 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns while also adding well over 600 yards and ten touchdowns on the ground. This season, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Rice throw for at least 20 touchdowns and run for at least 20 touchdowns. He’s a very underrated player not only in Class 5A but in the state. He has legitimate track speed and has gotten on the radar to play D1 football.

is back after he had a roller coaster of a sophomore season. On one hand, he went through the growing pains of a 1-9 season. But on the other side of that, you have a quarterback that has a lot of talent and is quickly figuring things out when he’s out on the field. The ceiling is incredibly high with him coming into this fall and beyond. Rice threw for nearly 1,400 yards and also added nearly 400 yards on the ground. He also played defense but for Duncan to compete, they need Rice to shine at quarterback.
