Bandy is an active defender with great range and closing speed in the secondary. Plays the center field safety spot well but can also roll down to match up in the slot. He’s a fluid athlete who transitions smoothly and uses his short area acceleration to quickly trigger to the ball. Flashes strong instincts and route recognition skills to anticipate a throw and put himself in position to make a play on the ball at the catch point. Brings heavy contact as a tackler driving through the POA to finish ball carriers to the ground aggressively. Breaks down well in space to be reliable in one on one and open field tackles. He’s a high upside prospect who moved up 30 overall spots and ranks inside the top 15 2026 DB’s in the state.
