Niumata got playing time in blowouts as a sophomore and delivered as the full-time starter last season.

He completed 54 percent of his passes for 1308 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions in eight games last season in a very tough Sunset League.

In person, he is every bit of the size he is listed at and has very good ball placement. I watched him at the Battle at the Beach passing tournament and he blended in well among quarterbacks that are already committed to Division 1 schools.

Niumata has good zip on the ball and while he isn’t a dual threat quarterback, he is athletic for a guy his size.
