A mountain of an offensive tackle at 6-foot-5 280-pounds, Walker is one of the top overall linemen in the Columbus area who earned a new offer this week from the nearby Auburn Tigers. Walker shined at left tackle last season for the Central Lions, showing he can play in space and bury defenders in the screen game and in the run. He’s a promising pass protector who shows balanced footwork and natural stength. He’s one of the top OL prospects in Georgia for the 2028 class who will likely see more and more offers come his way during spring practice and possibly later this summer.

A massive, mobile left tackle in West Georgia having a dominant sophomore season, Walker is already a national recruit with a lean 6-foot-4 285-pound frame who earned an other major offer this weekend from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2028 class, Walker is a weapon in the screen game due to his mobility and athleticism. He’s dependable in the run game and shows the potential to be an elite pass protector due to his feet, balance, length and potential. Just a sophomore, Walker is one of the top overall players in the region who could see his ranking rise in the next 2028 rankings update.

It’s crazy to say this, but when I first saw “Big Sam” on film last year as a seventh-grader, it was only because I was searching for the film of a teammate at Central Middle School (

While he stands out on both sides of the ball, the more I have watched him develop over the last two seasons, he looks like a no-brainer as a defensive lineman to me. On film he has played both defensive end and defensive tackle, showing great versatility for a big guy. In previous years on this Georgia Future Stars eighth grade team, there have been countless standout defensive linemen that have gone to to big careers post high school–and Walker looks destined to put his name on the list. I project him to play defensive tackle because of the hulking size he already has…and because of the potential he has. He has put in noticeable work in the weight room as well, already bench pressing 285-pounds and power cleaning 240 pounds. Playing in simple,

– To me, looks like the top 2028 Georgia offensive tackle that nobody seems to be talking about…yet. On film he has all the tools to become one of the best in country
– Elite size for an eighth-grade offensive tackle, already standing 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds (unverified) but he’s gotta be pretty close . Phenomenal frame and putting up big numbers in the weight room, reporting a 415-pound squat and 275-pound bench press
– Not just a big body, he can move. Quick and aggressive off the ball with a great first step. Also plays defensive tackle at a high level. does a great job of keeping a flat back and staying low at–and through–the point of contact
