Sam is such an interesting 2027 recruit. He actually plays on the edge for Logan, but at 6′ 250 lbs he is truly built for the trenches. What makes me even more excited about Sam is that his traits would dominate on the DL. He wins with an excellent first step that launches him off the line of scrimmage at the snap. Give him that quickness on the interior and watch IOL be outmatched vs him. He would be able to play early on as a pass rush specialist where that quickness and his active hand use would be able to shine. Plus with his frame he could do damage turning that speed into power at times. I love the potential mismatch that Sam could become on the DL at the next level.
