Our RB2 in South Dakota’s 2025 class has done nothing but flashed from a durability perspective in the first four weeks of the season and even when he is done with contacdt, you likely will still see him upright as Rylee is one of the most durable backs in the state. He would rather run thru contact than avoid it, which is what I love about Rylee thus far on tape. I also feel Rylee has gotten more agile from the 2023 season as he has shown off some smoother change of direction that runs with excellent fluidity. Not only did he log 400 yards and six touchdowns last week against a tough Hill City team, but his rushing attack has got the Rancher to 3-1 this season and trending upwards in Class 9A along with in late August finally getting his first Division II offer.

who filled up the stat sheet on both sides of the pleasantly in the Ranchers 58-6 victory over New Underwood. At 6’0 190 pounds, Rylee a durable downhill wrecking ball that can tolerate plenty of yards after contact, which even though I don’t have the tape yet, I can almost assure that happened in his Week 0 outing with how long this young man’s strides are as RB1 in the 2025 South Dakota rankings.Access all of Prep Redzone

Eval: Rylee is a 2025 Watchlist prospect we watched this summer at the Northern State prospect camp. Let us just say this incoming sophomore laid an excellent start in Week 1, averaging over 23 yards per carry and three rushing touchdowns. Rylee shows off an intensive amount of great footwork for his age plus his size, which seems to play bigger on the field week by week when you roll the tape. He got his reps at RB1 because of his excellent athleticsm, but do not be surprised to see this young man get the QB reigns in some formations this season for Harding County-Bison as on tape when the HCB WR has a man beat in coverage, Rylee shows great touch on his ball as just a sophomore. Also shows good physicality inside and good instincts in coverage from what we can see. Stay tuned for this kid over the coming months as we turn our watching into our 2025 rankings to see where he ends up!

of Harding County-Bison, as Rylee indeed showed some upside of what is to time from this incoming sophomore. I thought Rylee’s skillsets were elevated above his age level at the Northern State Prospect Camp, as he might be the best prospect in this region of NW South Dakota we have ever evaluated. He showed a long-striding athletic frame at 6’1, 195 pounds, and one that could turn on the jets to turn his hips fluidity to get to the football in a jiff of time which he showed that off on a couple of reps I got to watch. I also believe Rylee looks like an athletic prospect that is not done growing, as his long frame paints to me that there is more growth in the tank for this young man. As a QB on tape, Rylee shows an impressive touch ball on the deep and intermediate routes and gets it done on offense with his playmaking ability with his legs. From the LB spot, Rylee shows a knock-back tackler and a long reach to put his hands in the cookie jar of the wide receivers.
