With the NDSU staff firmly watching throughout the competition, Horsch was one of the smoothest, most fluid, and fastest performers during drill work, and he could run the hoop, break down/settle smoothly, and generally change direction with little wasted movement and noticeable ease. Horsch showed great acceleration, coordination and soft hands as a pass catcher, and a ton of juice as a blitzer. Great hand usage, strong at initial contact, and could unlock his hips at all, Horsch was coming into pass-rushing situations with a plan, the ability to execute, and the athleticism to counter on the fly.
