About Ryder

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Many see me as a "gamer" on the field, and I would agree. I feel like my strong suit is extending the plays and having fun playing the game I love. I'm aggressive and look to pick the defense apart every time I get the ball. I'm a serious dual threat and am always looking to make a play and I will always strive to be a leader for my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Competitive. I am very competitive and love to compete with any chance I get. I strive to be a great person to be around, a guy who can make people laugh and feel good about themselves. On the field, I strive to be intense and mentally locked in.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved with southwest 7v7 football organization.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years I have played football I have learned that being a quarterback comes with a ton of responsibility and tremendous leadership. so definitely I feel like I have grown as a leader and am able to take on the responsibility of being a quarterback.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One that I can remember was a game this freshman season I threw 3 interceptions in the early part of the game, which is unlike me and I had gotten my team down. I took full accountability for that game and worked all that next week very hard and our next game I had the best game of my life throwing for 400+ yards and 6 total touchdowns.

What type of college are you looking for?

Colleges that are the best fit for me and have a great atmosphere during games and campus life. A school that will fully prepare me for life ahead.

It was a pleasure to watch Ryder Spickard Ryder Spickard Ryder Spickard 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB/ATH Glendale | 2029 MO throw the football. He has such good form, and velocity to his passes I can see why he’s ranked so high in multiple platforms. Last weekend he really showed out among the other passers in attendance.

Spickard with pads is even more impressive and I cant wait to see him play in 2026.
