was a big-bodied, bruising ball-carrier that has the chance to break off a big run with physicality and a punishing running style. If Meeks makes it past the second level of the defense with a head of steam, few, if any defensive backs are going to want to make the tackle.
A similar sentiment could be said of his open-field tackling on defense. If he gets down hill and is headed toward a ball-carrier, there’s a solid chance he’ll put them in the dirt.
With positional versatility in terms of where he’s at on the football field, plus his size, Meeks could play a variety of positions at the next level for Simpson, should he choose the Storm.

I first saw Meeks when he was performing at the Back2Ballin 7 on 7 tournament in Cedar Falls last spring. He impressed me with his skill set and comfortability at quarterback. Meeks followed up a strong offseason with a fine fall at Lisbon. The Lions leaned on his running prowess. He led them in rushing yards (598) and rushing touchdowns (4). Meeks threw a scoring pass and caught three balls for 25 yards. Nineteen of his 27.5 tackles were solo stops, and he contributed a pair of tackles for loss. Meeks averaged 26.5 yards on 16 kick returns, bringing one of them back to the house. He averaged 13.2 yards on four punt returns. Meeks proves during his junior highlight video to be a prospect that could develop into a college quarterback with the speed and athleticism to succeed at another position.
