About Ryan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a quarterback that is comfortable in the pocket and delivering the ball where it needs to go. I am able to recognize defenses and make calculated, and strategic reads. I control the huddle, ensure that every player knows their role, and understand the playbook better than anyone else on the field. I cannot be outworked and am always eager to listen to guidance and improve.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong desire to suceed and perform for my team. I arrive early to practice to take extra snaps with the center and stay late to watch film with the coach in order to prep for the upcoming games. I have a competitive but inclusive personality. I get along with all my teammates but expect the best out of them and they expect the best out of me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Advanced placement classes in Mathematics. I am I am also involved heavily in the winter outdoor activities club and our off-season strength and conditioning programs. I also volunteer at FuRR feline rescue and help clean and maintain foster pets until their adoption.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

- Communication has been huge. Being able to communicate plays, strategies, and expectations to piers has been a great quality I have developed. - Building Trust has also been critical. I believe that players know that I am out working hard and ensuring that I deliver the best possible results, so they know they can trust me when the game is on the line.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced several significiant challenges in my life, but as it relates to football...I have had to battle for my starting position. My goal was to start at Varsity quarterback as a sophmore and it has been a lot of work. I had to work the entire offseason to build muscle, improve my technique , gain speed, and study in order to be the best solution for the team. It was delayed gratification

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play at a Division 2 or Division 3 school. I plan to study business and business management courses.
