Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play hard and controlled. I have played both sides of the ball for 3 years on Varsity which has helped build my grit and determination. I can read defensive fronts well and understand my assignment. I help my teammates out with their assignments also.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am always eager to learn and can take criticism well. I am a friendly out going person. I have a great attitude and work hard. I have been playing football since 1st grade with many different coaches and coaching styles and have excelled with them all.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in FFA, FBLA, National Honor Society and 1st Baptist church youth group. I have qualified for state competitions this year for both FFA and FBLA.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I was a football captain last season and just elected as one for this season. We are in charge of a unit of players making sure they attend practice and summer workouts. We work as a mini team within the season.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
When I entered my Freshman year I had a teammate that was better, I wrestled Junior Varsity. I was ranked in the top 10 of the state wrestlers for 2 years but was not able to commit at the state level. I learned how to be a better teammate and helped my 3 partners compete at state & they all medaled. When I got my chance I now conference champ and earned 4th place at 285lbs at state.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for either Athletic Training or Physical Therapy pathways. I would like a school with a good relationship between athletics and academics. I will start college with 36 credits already completed in high school.
