Offensively, Wilder is an explosive running back out of the backfield that plays with a ton of speed and toughness. Wilder has quick feet, can make great cuts to force missed tackles, and has the speed to outrun entire defenses in the open field. Wilder also has great contact balance, can shed tackles, and fights for every possible yard each carry. Defensively, Widler is a hard-hitting linebacker that plays against the run extremely well. He has great vision and instincts that allow him to fly around the field to close up gaps, make tackles, and impact plays. It’s been easy to see Wilder’s dynamic skill set this season, he’s already racked up 109 carries for 1309 yards and 9 touchdowns, with 40 tackles (27 solo, 13 assisted), 2 sacks, and one interception on defense.
