is not a new name to me. I have been following him all off-season but week 3 was the game that put his ranking on the rise. Kidd is without a doubt Hutch Tech’s best overall athlete and he proved that this weekend against North Tonawanda. He led the team in receiving with 5 catches 178 yards and 2 scores as well as being their top defensive performer with 14 tackles and a forced fumble as an OLB.

is the quintessential Outside Linebacker with his big frame and long arms that gives him that advantage to rush the passer. Kidd has the physicality to take on Offensive Linemen and the speed to be valuable in pass coverage. He has excellent hand placement and superb agility. His unique blend of size, speed and power will make him a highly sought after senior in 2024.

At 6’4, Kidd has great size for a Wide Receiver and Outside Linebacker. On offense, he was a dual threat as a runner and receiver, carrying the ball 35 times and catching 19 passes for 303 yards from scrimmage and 3 TDs. As a Linebacker, Romeo led the Engineers in all categories – 47 tackles (2 for loss), 2 sacks and a forced fumble. He has the physicality that is essential for the position and even if the play gets by him, he has the catch up speed and desire to make the play downfield. Kidd possesses the hand technique to rush the passer along with the speed to cover the slot Wide Receiver. I think he is poised to have a fantastic senior year.
