Spearman is an underrated back who runs with really good vision. He’s a natural zone runner who does a nice job letting blocks develop before sticking his foot in the ground and getting upfield as soon as the crease opens. He doesn’t rush things and has the patience to let the play come to him when it needs to. He’s also shifty enough to make the first defender miss without trying to do too much. I like runners who understand what they’re supposed to be, and Spearman does a good job playing to his strengths.

The second tailback from Trinity on this list, Romelle Spearman Romelle Spearman 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Trinity | 2027 State KY , is a shifty speedster out of the Shamrocks’ backfield. He is effective using jump cuts and making defenders hesitate with their tackles. He’s explosive out of his stance and has fast feet. Spearman is also dangerous when he breaks outside and can bounce off defenders in stride and maintain balance. He has demonstrated the ability to maneuver his way through piles of defenders while fighting for extra yards.

Spearman was a primary deep target for Indy Select South. He made several plays on 1 on 1 throws and came down with the ball. He tracks the ball in the air well and is someone who has awareness of his defender and space around him while getting to the ball. He can separate well down the field and is someone to watch out for for Trinity this coming season.
