Thomas has the ideal size for the linebacker position, good athleticism and hip fluidity in space in coverage, while a very tough and violent tackler in the box with plenty of varsity experience heading into his Senior season. He is a downhill true mike backer that can quickly get off blocks, scrape over the top while showing pass rush abilities when applying pressure up the middle and flashes closing speed with the ability to track down ball carriers backside. Thomas checks into our WL rankings, and is one of the top defenders across the high desert heading into this Fall and he is a no brainer next level kid at the D3+ level in college.
